130 school students from 40 schools came together for one weekend to act out the Model United Nations Assembly. A most rewarding experience for all who participated. The MUNA Chairman, Charles Kilby, Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Ryde and all the students.
MUNA is part of an International Rotary project to educate senior high school students (years 10–12) on the United Nations organisation and its vital commitment to world peace along with health, education and living standards around the world. MUNA helps students to develop public speaking and debating skills along with the study of the customs, cultures and problems of the world's nations. Delegates attend MUNA wearing the national dress of the country they represent.
