Ryde Rotary Satellite E-Club

Rotary Club of Ryde

Ryde Rotary's operations encompass our  very active satellite E-Club. A Satellite E-Club is an ideal way for people with busy lives and families to participate fully in the Rotary movement, without necessarily committing to attending weekly meetings in person.

E-Clubs are Rotary clubs that meet electronically. They follow the same policies as all Rotary clubs that are part of Rotary International. The key difference is that an E-Club conducts its weekly meetings via the club’s on-line forums and/or via teleconference, rather than requiring physical attendance at an appointed day and time.

As all Rotary clubs do, our E-Club meets weekly, performs and supports service projects in local and international communities, and we enjoy fellowship among members. Our E-Club is a “satellite” of the Rotary Club of Ryde, and belonging to the satellite E-Club is through membership of the Rotary Club of Ryde.

The E-Club meets via teleconference at 08:30 each Wednesday, and members may participate at any time (alternatively or additionally) via the on-line forum accessible by clicking “Forum” here. Meeting participation involves a small “participation fee” of $10, all of which will be directed to projects supported by the E-Club. Payment is via direct transfer to "Rotary Club of Ryde Inc ESATRYDE", BSB 112 879 A/C 432369151.

If you would like to participate via either of these avenues, please contact satellite E-Club projects director, Rob Mitchell, at robert.mitchell@tpg.com.au, or at 0412 220 736. We can then explain to you the simple steps necessary for either teleconferencing or forum involvement.

The simplest way to "make-up" via our E-Club is via audio participation in the regular Wednesday teleconferences. Just dial-in to (02) 91916319 a few minutes before 08:30, and enter conference code 778321361# when asked. We can provide you with other local dial-in numbers for other national and international locations if you wish. To see the visual component of meetings, click https://join.me/esatchair  .
