Keynote Speaker - Sue-Anne Brady
Australian Business Limited Apprenticeships Centre
Sue-Anne has been with Australian Business Apprenticeships Centre (ABAC) for over 12years, joining the company in 2001 as consultant working the South Coast of NSW – her territory covering an area from Kiama in the north to the Victorian border in the south. Sue-Anne moved into the Sydney Manager’s position in 2005 and is responsible for a team of 45 consultants and administration staff who sign over 20 000 apprentices and trainees in Sydney each year. Apprenticeship Centres are responsible for the completion of the apprenticeship indenture paperwork, the administration any incentives for the apprentice and their employers, as well as the marketing and promotion of the programme to employers and to potential apprentices/trainees to encourage the uptake into the programme.
Before joining ABAC, Sue-Anne has worked with the unemployed in programmes such as Work-for-the Dole and Links to Learning, and as she tells me – many years ago was a primary school teacher before she had her family. Sue-Anne holds a Bachelor of Teaching, Certificate 4 in Human Resources Management & Certificate 4 in Workplace Assessment & Training.
