Feedback and Thank yous
Over the years we have received countless letters of feedback and thanks from the community, in response to the projects we have been involved with. This section of our site features just a small selection of what we have received, to give you an idea of the kind of work we do and the impact Rotary can have.
If you have any feedback, please contact us. We would love to hear from you.

Hi Rob,
Many thanks for nominating me for the NSW State Volunteer Award. I won the Regional (Western Sydney) Volunteer of the Year Award. The ceremony took place in the NSW Parliament House this morning.
The NSW Centre for Volunteering has donated a $ 200 as part of my Prize. I would like to donate it for the Borjegai Project.
Regards,

Dear Allen,
I am writing to thank the Rotary Club of Ryde, and you as the organiser, for inviting our school, St Michael's Meadowbank, to participate in this year's annual Primary Schools Public Speaking Competition.
We were particulary thrilled that our student representative, Natalia Reale-Bryant, was awarded first place from a very competitive field of speakers.
I would be most grateful if you would be able to forward this "Thank You email" onto the very generous sponsors of the competition, without whose support such a worthy event would not be possible. -
Dear Nora and the Ryde Rotary Team,
We would like to thank you for donating your time and efforts to ensure that the gift wrap service was provided for our customers.
Your help is certainly appreciated.
Kind regards, -
I personally would like to thank you for taking part in our 2010 Eco Family Fun Day. I hope it was a successful day for you. It is wonderful to have Rotary be part of our fun day. We could not have asked for better weather. We look forward to seeing you again next year. Thanks again for your participation.

Hi there, Thanks for sponsoring the Circus Quirkus on Sunday the 12th of September at the Sydney Convention Centre. My family did really enjoyed the show. The performers were very talanted. We are looking forward for another show in the near future. Friends of ours who work for the Defence Department took us there. Good luck on the project you are working on at the moment.

To the Rotary Members, My family and I went to see "Circus Quirkus" on the Sunday 12th Sept. It is not often that we are able to go to such events as our son has a disability. We as a family had a great time and thought the show was a blast. Thankyou for your generosity and commitment to helping other people through such events. Thankyou

I am writing to thank you for your support for Circus Quirkus in Sydney.
Our family really enjoyed this event, especially my 15yr old daughter, Tara.
Tara has immune eosinophilic oesophagitis, she has a nasal tube that goes into her stomach & is allergic to 90% of food. Tara hasn’t been to school since November last year & doesn’t go back for another 6 months. She has been so down & unhappy. I haven’t seen her laugh & clap & enjoy herself for such a long time.
I want to thank you all for making her so happy, it was so priceless.
Thanks again... -

Wow Allen, what a night! Great views of the Queens, hot food, lots of drinks at sensible prices, noisy, crowded and lots of happy Rotariians – what more could we ask for?
THANK YOU and your team of helpers for organising a terrific event. It will be easier next time!!!!
Now put your feet up and enjoy a hard earned rest.

Just a brief feedback on the quality of the Ryde Rotary Website. I personally find your site informative and professional, it is easy to navigate and a massive improvement from the early days of the club website. Mit Freundlichen Grüssen.

“Asante sana” (thank you so much) for your contribution to St Jude's - you can't imagine how far it is going to go here in Tanzania! It is only thanks to people like you that we are able to continue to offer a high standard of education to the poorest and neediest children in this struggling community. With the school continuing to grow there is no end to the number of bills to be paid so your kindness and generosity is hugely appreciated.
You should know that your contribution is going towards changing the lives of children who would otherwise have few opportunities to concentrate on their studies. St Jude’s will give its student’s the chance to finish secondary school and go on to further studies, in turn becoming better candidates for worthwhile employment and breaking the cycle of poverty. The hope is that our student’s will in fact become leaders within their communities in a richer and stronger Tanzania.
It is great to know that the Rotary Club of Ryde is on our team as we work together to fight poverty in Tanzania through education.

Education proved to be significant
CONGRATULATIONS to Ryde Rotary Club for supporting the building of the Borjegai School in Afghanistan (front page, January 12). This project has great significance.
Firstly, that by providing a good quality public education for refugee students it allows them to see the value of education for future generations. It is also worth noting the foresight that Ryde Rotary Club has displayed in trusting Ali Rexa Yunespour and the Indigo Foundation, and in committing to a project that will make a real difference in the lives of so many young people.
Ali first came to the attention of readers of the Northern District Times in December, 2005 when he was doing volunteer work in Australia before he had enough English to apply for a casual job. The paper reported his fantastic HSC results in 2007 (UAI 96.45).
I think this will not be the last we hear of Ali . -
Just wanted to say thank you for having Mali and I along last night to the changeover dinner. It was a brilliant evening. Your members are very encouraging and supportive.
We were honoured to be included in this special evening. I was so overwhelmed by the very generous donation of $2000 from your Club.
I will have Mali align your donation with 4 campers on the next Operation Hope camp and provide feedback to your club. When received would you mind passing this onto your members please.
Thanks for your ongoing support of Operation Hope.
Regards
