    Biography:

I was first introduced to Rotary in 1971 by the owner of the optometry practice I managed in Nassau, Bahamas, as a means of meeting more potential customers. But I soon found it was much more rewarding than that.

I was a member of Nassau West Club for four years, before moving to Canada.

It wasn't feasible to join a Club in Canada, but when I was invited to join the Rotary Club of Ryde in 1990, I didn't hesitate, and have enjoyed 21years of fellowship and service with some of the best people around!

Why I joined Rotary: The chance to do a little good in the world, and to help make a difference to the less fortunate, both here and abroad. It's also Good Fun!
