Invitation from RIDE Noel to attend Canberra Conference Sept 5-6

On behalf of the Regional Membership Development Team I would like to invite you to attend the National Membership Success Conference and Youth Summit in Canberra
National Rotary Membership Success Conference
Membership is critical to all of us as Rotarians, it will become even more so over the next few years. We invite you to attend the National Rotary Membership Success Conference which is being held on the weekend of the 5th and 6th September 2015 at the Hellenic Club, Woden in Canberra. This conference will enable all attendees to be actively involved in the breakout groups discussing innovative and new ideas as well as hearing about how a number of Clubs have increased their membership. The weekend gives District and Club Leaders and Rotarians of all ages a great opportunity to capitalise on the experience of people who have been innovative or who have used new methods to gain new members with success.
Younger Rotarians ? Have Your Say
A Youth Summit will run as part of the National Membership Success Conference.  Younger Rotarians and Rotaractors are invited to contribute their ideas about the future of Rotary, and to provide advice and guidance about ways to make Rotary attractive to more young people.  Outcomes from the Youth Summit will be collated into a formal communique which will be provided to the General Secretary of Rotary International, as well as Governors and Club Presidents in our zones.  We hope this year?s Youth Summit will have real impact on the future of Rotary in our region.
Participants at the Membership Success Conference and the Youth Summit will also hear from some excellent keynote speakers.  Immediate Past RI Director Mary Beth Growney Selene has a keen interest in membership, and spearheaded the recent Young Rotarians? Forum held in Evanston, USA.   Andrew McLeod is a noted humanitarian, author, sportsperson and businessman.  Amongst his many achievements, Andrew was a member of the Steering Committee of the World Economic Forum ?Future of Civil Society? project.
